To better meet the expectations of the population, the economic actors of Grand Baie, and many tourists who visit this region, Evaco Group is planning a project that will change the image of our island.

Three areas of development have been identified: accessibility, safety, and leisure.

Quality infrastructure, pedestrian access, improved traffic flow, and optimised parking spaces, are some of the changes planned to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants.

Driven by the need to respect the environment and preserve the authentic aspect of the region, the waterfront will bring modern improvements necessary for the economic, social and cultural development of Grand Baie.

Project Status:  

On 13 April 2018, an official project submission has been made to different ministries to obtain the necessary authorisations for the start of the project. The application is currently being processed under the supervision of the Economic Development Board.
